STEAM BATH & MASSAGE

The Riad Karmela has a traditional Moroccan hammam. Our team of masseurs are available to provide you with a hammam, black soap gommage, or Rhazoul mud body mask treatments. This can then be followed by a your choice of Argan oil massage from a range of massages, which take place in the adjacent massage room. 30 minute massage € 15, one hour massage €30. We also offer facials, pedicures, manicures, and reflexology.

The hammam is a warm room with traditional tadelakt plaster walls but no steam. After moistening your skin with lukewarm water, the masseur will apply a mask of black soap and after a few minutes’ relaxation, scrub the whole body. This is followed by a shower with gera nium-scented soap and then, if you wish, you can continue to rest and relax for a massage session in the adjoining room, which naturally uses organically-grown Argan oil.
